It’s no secret that Mercury Hall is my favorite venue! I got married there 4 and a half years ago so it will always be one of my favorite places to shoot. This was one of the main reasons that Michelle chose to hire me for her and Fernando’s wedding. And I am so grateful she did. Their wedding was so beautiful and so much fun. And it was so fun to see all of the changes that Mercury Hall has made to the venue!
Mercury Hall Wedding
Michelle and Fernando had a destination wedding in the heart of Austin. They live out of state as did most of the guest list. Fernando and his family are from Venezuela, so they wanted that to be incorporated in many parts of their wedding. Fernando’s mom is an artist, and she made fans for the guests to use during the ceremony. There was delicious candy from Venezuela. At the bar, a beautiful collage of pictures of Venezuela.
Michelle was the most gorgeous bride. She looked so classic in her simple and elegant wedding gown, her statement earrings, and her bouquet full of orchids. I loved shooting her and could’ve spent the whole day doing so.
It was a hot summer day, so we got through pictures fast, but I love all the ones we got. You can’t tell that these two were so excited to get back to the AC, because they were even more excited to be getting married that day, 100 degree weather and all.
