I was so happy I could take Marissa and Cody’s Yosemite engagement pictures. It wasn’t as much of an engagement session as it was me documenting our 18 mile hike (yeah, 18 miles, you read that right!) but I was so happy we could take some pictures of them before they got married two days later!
I was flying out to California to shoot Marissa and Cody’s elopement in Lake Tahoe. When one of their friend’s plans changed and they couldn’t go to Yosemite anymore, Marissa changed my ticket and I flew out early. We hiked the Half Dome in Yosemite and it was INSANE. It was definitely the most physically challenging thing I have ever done. We hiked for over 12 hours and my legs are still feeling it!
But I’m happy I did because I got to hang out with these two (who I have know since Jr. High!) and got to take some fun pictures of them. This is definitely the most informal “engagement session” I have ever done, but it really shows you who these two are: adventurous!
