If you were to ask me where my favorite place was for engagement pictures, chances are I will say Bull Creek in Austin! There is a gorgeous patch of tall golden grass that the sun reflects off beautifully, and a creek that quietly runs right down the middle of the park. You can also easily find vibrant flowers and plants, but also a great, neutral green background for classic photos! Really, best of both worlds!
A simple boy-meets-girl high school kind of love.
Tayrn and Tyler met in high school when he was a senior and she was a sophomore. But it wasn’t until after Tyler graduated that things really took off, all starting with a trip to go bowling. In the last eight years they’ve grown to be best friends, and inspire each other to live their best lives. Plus, they’ve taught each other all the REALLY important things. You know, like how Tyler taught Taryn how to shoot a gun, hunt, and fish. And how she taught him about the hilariousness that is Seinfeld, reality TV, and red wine.
Capturing these two made for such a sweet day. I met them at a get together YEARS ago, and when Taryn emailed me, I felt the excitement and butterflies for them. Like this beautiful couple, I also married my high school sweetheart, and there is something so special about finally making the relationship official. Finally seeing all your planning and dreams become a reality. I couldn’t be more excited for them to get MARRIED next year at Canyonwood Ridge!!
