Atlas is coming in less than three months, so Tim and I are filling all our free time with things we may not be able to do as easily when there is a screaming newborn in the house. Camping, taking road trips, seeing movies in the theater, nice dinners, spontaneous dates and binge watching TV! It’s been such a fun season of getting ready for our little girl but also enjoying each others company before it’s no longer the two of us! Such a crazy thought.
So, a month or so ago we decided to take a quick weekend trip to Big Bend in west Texas for a camping trip! This was a random decision and while I was a little worried about sitting in the car, pregnant, for over 7 hours (one way!), it was sooooo good for us. Totally unplugged, beautiful weather, and just a simple time of relaxing. We hiked a couple of short trails, one a bit longer, grilled, played cards and kept Obi alive through his first hiking adventures 🙂 I cannot wait for our next trip to be here and Atlas get to join us.
