Amanda and Brad opted for a more meaningful, unique location for their wedding day
Instead of a traditional wedding venue in Austin, Amanda and Brad turned her childhood home into their dream wedding location. Their ceremony took place on the lawn that she played on as a kid, cocktail hour was around the pool they spent summers in, and to get to the ceremony, the guests had to walk across the sand volleyball court that Amanda grew up practicing on. Which leads me to the best part of this story, Amanda and Brad were/are professional sand volleyball players!
After years of traveling, training and competing as professional athletes, Amanda and Brad had two friends introduce them. From that point on, they continued to support, encourage, and fight for each other and their relationship. Hearing the toasts and conversations friends and family share about the newlyweds on the wedding day is by far one of my favorite moments (even if they are full of inside jokes and rambling!), because it feels like a look into the lives of the couple. Amanda and Brad’s families shared stories about redemption, faith, loyalty, and a fierce love. Being a part of their day was so incredible and we feel honored to have captured it!
