Another beautiful wedding at Allen Farmhaus! It doesn’t matter the season, weddings at Allen Farmhaus are always so amazing. Ever since it opened in 2017, it quickly became a favorite of ours. We are happy to be back every time, and Emma and Cody’s wedding was no exception.
Emma and Cody got married on the first day of June and it was such a sweet summer day. But first… we need to take it back to when they met! Their story seems like something from a romantic comedy, and we love it! Emma was living in Vermont at the time and Cody in Texas. They were both vacationing with friends and family when they met on the last night they were there. They exchanged numbers and kept in touch. Cody came to visit Emma in Vermont a month after they met and the rest, as it goes, was history!
I know we say this all the time, but we seriously have the sweetest couples ever, Emma and Cody included! You see it their interactions with one another, their friends and families, and even us on their wedding day. Their wedding was about more than the two of them; it was about the two families becoming one.
Their wedding day was so beautiful. It was a gorgeous summer day. It was hot but the light was perfect. Emma accented her day with multiple shades of blush, gorgeous florals, and stunning gown! We were commenting on her dress all day long!
Emma and Cody both said they were most looking forward to seeing each other as Emma walked down the aisle to Cody. It is one of our favorite parts of a wedding day as well, especially when the groom cries. We love the emotion of it, the thoughts running through his head, the words about to be exchanged. Every ceremony is so personal.
This day was so great! We can’t wait to be back at Allen Farmhaus soon!
