We love every single wedding we shoot and they are all so emotional, even if we have just met the couple. But weddings where the bride and groom are our friends will always be some of favorites.
I get teary eyed at every wedding I shoot because that’s just who I am, but Leeann and Jeff’s Silo and Oak wedding had me straight up in tears! I have known the bride and groom since at least freshmen year of high school, if not longer. My twin sister is a very close friend to Leeann, so I saw her often growing up. I have followed her journey to where she is now and so seeing her marry Jeff, the absolute love of her life, was such a joy to watch.
These two are perfect for each other. They compliment one another so well. They love to travel together, raise their fur babies, support one another, and grow together. They are so incredibly in love! It made capturing their big day such a breeze.
Leeann and Jeff got married at Silo and Oak, a sweet, quaint wedding venue in Temple, Texas. It got its name from the pretty, red brick silo on the property, and the many oak trees that cover the grounds. The reception space is a photographers dream! All white wooden walls with plenty of windows to provide an abundance of natural light. PLus it didn’t hurt that the sun had FINALLY come out to play! So many of our weddings have been very overcast (which is actually great for pictures!) but man did we miss the sun! It was such an amazing day!
