It has been so hard keeping this a secret! We are so excited to finally announce that we are so happy to bring on Amy Jean as the newest photographer on our Austin team!
We are so excited about the newest addition to our team! Amy is talented, focused, sweet, and so much fun to be around. In the short time that she has joined us, she has already become such a great friend to all of us. We couldn’t be happier to have her on our team. 
Aloha, everybody! My name is Amy Showalter, I am a wife, mother, and photographer saved by Grace! I was born and raised in New Jersey until I fell in love with Hawaii. I met the man of dreams, had two wonderful children, and found my passion for photography all on that beautiful Island. I’ve been pursuing photography for 8 years— it truly is the best medium to capture love and joy with. I feel so blessed to be able to preserve precious moments that will be cherished by loved ones through photography with such an amazing team. France Photographers is such a powerful collective of talent and passion. I’m so humbled to be a part of such a tremendous family. When I’m not photographing sweet moments you can find me with my family. I have an amazing creative husband that is my rock and my completer; I couldn’t do what I do without him. I have two wonderful kids, Jovi and Nixon, whom I homeschool everyday. I treasure them dearly and want the very best for them. They are wild and so nerdy. We are a board game family, so on any given night you can find us at our kitchen table playing games and having intentional time together. We are also the most silly family and thrive on fun; if we aren’t nerding out we are probably in our living room dancing to Lionel Richie’s ‘All night long.’ If there is ever a free moment to myself you can find me among my flowers. I love gardening and cultivating life and beauty all around me. I’m all about authenticity, enjoying life, and capturing every moment of it!
