Tucked away in South Austin, just a few miles off the highway is The Vineyards at Chappell Lodge. You turn a corner and you are instantly transported into Southern California, surrounded by a lush vineyard and French inspired details. Texas weddings can often be stigmatized as rustic and when you picture them, you see a large open field. But this Austin wedding venue has other, brilliant, ideas!
Courtney and I met at a bachelorette party, which is the absolute best way to meet someone. It’s fun, inviting, and everyone is under the assumption that the weekend is a judgement free zone! Courtney is one of those people who’s smile is infectious and people are instantly drawn to her joyful personality, and let’s be honest, insane beauty. During this weekend away, I learned a lot about Grant. His love for plaid, and even more for their dog Toyo, his brilliant mind, and the way he adores Courtney.
Before the wedding, I had only met Grant once, at a mutual friends wedding (I see you Becca!), and it was so apparent how much he cherished Courtney. The way he looked at her, even if she was doing something simple, was heartwarming. And on the wedding day, it was impossible not to see them together and smile. They are the perfect example of loving your spouse, accepting their quirks, and always putting your dog first (especially when it’s as cute as Toyo!) 😉
Congratulations Courtney and Grant! Your future is so incredibly bright and I am so excited to follow along with your new adventures as husband and wife!
