When Jen Krause with Altar Ego Weddings reached out to me in April about shooting this Science Mill museum wedding I was so excited! I pass the Science Mill often on long trips and have always thought it looked like so much fun. To shoot a wedding there?! It was like a dream come true.
Holly & Blaine’s Science Mill Museum Wedding
Holly and Blaine are so much fun and so sweet together. And their wedding day was just as fun as them. They got married at the Church at Horseshoe Bay and then headed to Johnson City for their reception at the Science Mill. I usually don’t pick favorites…but I may have to here. This was one of the coolest receptions we have shot! The guests got to explore the museum during cocktail hour and play with all the different exhibits. Mikenzie and I took a quick break at one point in the night and played with some of the exhibits! SO.MUCH.FUN! All night we heard guests going on and on about how amazing their reception was and we whole-heartedly agree!
The vendor team for this wedding was also A+!! Jen from Alter Ego did an incredible job planning it all and day of was just the best! So organized and easy to work with. She makes our jobs so much easier! We couldn’t get over the beautiful fall arrangements that Merveille Floral and Design put together! The colors were gorgeous.
