The YO Ranch Wedding in Kerrville, Texas
Berkley and Sterlin met at Texas Tech, and while Berkley’s style is off the charts, Sterlin was raised on a farm, and is still super involved. So for their wedding, they brought the best of both worlds. Gorgeous tents, potted plant for centerpieces, all in the middle of a huge ranch.
When we saw the rain wasn’t going to let up for their wedding day, we reorganized the timeline, and Jessica at Uptown Events initiated the rain plan like a champ. It wasn’t easy, since the YO Ranch isn’t necessarily a designated wedding venue, but I couldn’t have imaged a better outcome. Berkley and Sterlin handled the whole thing like pros, and never lost site of what the whole day is really about.
They didn’t plan on doing a first look, but because of the rain, we needed the extra time, so they gave an anxious “sure!”, and we were so happy they agreed. Back to back, they exchanged gifts labeled “Ster” and “Berkdog”, and beautiful gifts. And when they couldn’t wait any longer, Sterlin turned around to see his stunning bride. We couldn’t believe what an amazing day it was off to, despite the mess of the weather.
Thank you to all the vendors who pivoted plans, and accommodated our crazy ideas in the midst of an even crazier day. Berkley and Sterlin, you guys are the best. The best, most joyous, graceful, fun, beautiful couple ever. Thanks for choosing us, we are SO thankful to know you both!
