Summer weddings come with a ton of extra heat in Texas, but luckily the beauty of these events out weigh all the sweat! If you are a Texas resident, you know what we are talking about. This Allen Farmhaus wedding was equal parts simple and elegant, unique and modern, and a whole lot of fun!
Megan and Jeff both said they were most looking forward to the ceremony and seeing each other for the first time that day. And when that moment came, the heat, stress and all the little details went out the window. It was just them two, becoming a married couple and a family, finally. Her father walked her down the isle in a kilt, their candle ceremony was an un-lit candle ceremony due to the wind, and the bride ended up wearing the best man’s ring instead of her wedding band! They laughed, a lot, cried tears of gratitude and joy, and walked back down the isle as one happy couple!
After the ceremony we snuck away for a few portraits, and Megan and Jeff were all smiles. Giggly, teenage, heartfelt smiles as they enjoyed the few intimate minutes they had together. Every detail was thoughtful, intentional and extraordinary. From her luxurious dress to the Jimmy Choo shoes, Megan was a planner, and boy did it come in handy. And for the final touches, Lively Events in New Braunfels sealed the deal. Their team and design skills are a photographers dream!
