I am so in love with these Zilker Botanical Garden engagement pictures! ZBG is such a beautiful place to do a portrait session because there is SO MUCH to see! If you haven’t been, GO NOW! Seriously, you won’t regret it! It is such a gorgeous place. I could shoot there over and over and never get tired of it. I’m a huge fan of the Zilker Botanical Gardens and I was so happy to be here again after shooting Dawn and Raymond’s engagement pictures here earlier in the year.
Amber and Nico say they are camera shy but I say otherwise! These two were just the sweetest in front of the camera! Their love for one another is so sweet and I just love how it came through in the pictures. Knowing that they are a bit camera shy, I just told them to enjoy one another. Pretend I’m not there. Laugh. Kiss. Have fun! This is how every shoot with us is! We want you to enjoy yourselves and be yourself!
One of my favorite parts of the day was trying to get the perfect confetti picture. After some failed attempts of me trying to throw the confetti while also taking the pictures while they stared lovingly at each other (we did succeed eventually) I decided to try something different. I decided they should just blow the confetti at me! After the first time I said “okay let’s go again but maybe try to think about what your face looks like” although I’m not sure anyone can make a blowing face look good? So they go to try again but instead of blowing the confetti at me they just keep laughing because they are trying to make the perfect face. One of my favorite images is of them laughing with confetti in their hands. We just had so much fun!
