And just like that, another Allen Farmhaus wedding is in the books! Being a photographer of weddings at the Allen Farmhaus is both fun, and absolutely stunning. The owners, Cassie and Maitlyn, go out of their way to make sure every chair seat is cleaned, and every guest feels right at home. I have never met a venue who’s staff is more accommodating!
Mandy and Sheldon contacted me to photograph their wedding, but because they live in Chicago, we didn’t get to meet until Mandy’s bridal session (coming to the blog soon!) last month! But come the wedding day, I felt like I had known her, her sister, and their mom forever. They were kind, compassionate, and so stress free. I love when families remember what the big day is all about, rather than all the small things that are insignificant.
I didn’t meet Sheldon until the wedding day, but when I did, he was all jokes from the beginning. Teasing that I wasn’t really photographing the details, but rather stealing and running off with everything! Him and his wedding party were so excited for the special day and were having a total blast. It’s hard not to when your groom suite includes a pool and air hockey table!
The Pearson’s big day was complete with an amazing team of vendors. Photographing weddings in New Braunfels is my favorite because I get to work with so many local vendors, who happen to be friends!
