Paige and Jacob got married at Moore Ranch just outside of College Station and it was such a great day! It was sunny and beautiful and we got so lucky because now it is forecasted to rain for seven days straight!!
It was such a sweet and emotional day. There were so many sentimental details to the day: Paige and Jacob’s mother’s wedding dresses hanging up at the reception, presents from Jacob’s mother for the bride and groom that honored family members that were no longer with them, Paige and Jacob exchanging letters before the ceremony and laughing because what they had written was so similar.
One of the sweetest moments was after the first dance, father/daughter dance and mother/son dance. When Paige’s parents got married they didn’t have a huge wedding and so they never got a first dance, and they LOVE to dance. For their 25th anniversary they were going to have a vow renewal/wedding reception but when Paige got engaged they decided not to so that they could help Paige pay for her wedding. So Paige surprised them at her reception with a first dance just for the two of them. It was so sweet. Paige had tears in her eyes as she told the story to her guests and surprised her parents.
