Veronica + Jonar

This gorgeous summer wedding took place at Texas Old Town in Kyle, Texas and is one I will never forget. Both Veronica & Jonar had about eleven bridesmaids and groomsmen, and to me this meant that there was an extraordinary amount of love supporting the two of them. They all seemed like family while laughing, dancing, taking shots and celebrating together. Now I don’t have eleven friends to begin with, so this was more than heartwarming to witness.
If you’ve never seen a Hawaiian wedding reception dance party, you are seriously missing out. As you can see below, a group of all ages prepared dances to about 5 songs and presented it to the bride and groom. And for a twist at the end, the groom jumps in and gives everyone a hilarious show. Oh, and a part of Jonar’s family lives in Hawaii and brought them fresh, real leis for their ceremony. Talk about unique and so so special. Not to mention, instead of a typical “dollar dance”, they have the bride and groom in the center of a circle and everyone throws money at them. I love it. Make sure to check out the pictures of their “dollar dance” variation below, they are priceless.
This was definitely one of the most fun and entertaining weddings I’ve ever been to. Veronica & Jonar, thank you so much for having me be a part of your big day. I hope it was everything you dreamed of and more, and you have a beautiful life together!

P.S. Shout out to the best second shooter a girl could ask for. If you haven’t heard about our new photographer joining the team, Becca, stay tuned to hear all about it!

Thanks to an amazing group of vendors that helped pull off such a gorgeous day!
