Ranch Life

I am so lucky to not only have a family that is loving, fun and plain awesome, but a beautiful place to all get together and celebrate. This past Easter I got to spend time hunting money filled eggs (luckily the youngest kid in our family is 18, so we get to still hunt!), eating delicious banana pudding, and one of the most glorious things, sleeping in a bed on the outside balcony. Now is one of the only times that Texas weather will allow for such a thing, so I am doing it while I can!

But best of all, my dad and I had time to sneak away, and drive the ranch. It was so beautiful, especially since the bluebonnets are making their grand appearance, and I will admit, I got carried away with obsessing over bark. I know that sounds dumb, but really, bark is so freakin’ awesome. Even though I think we only drove for about a mile, we stopped so often for photo opportunities it took about an hour! You can see some of my favorite shots below.

Anyways, I am so grateful for quality time with my pops, husband, and dear family. Love them all so much!
